MECHATRAINING LLC · FREE ACCESS

FREE Account Terms

Terms of use for the MechaTraining FREE account, Mech CNC Mill educational simulator, CNC-MR Academy materials and the Android XR companion.

01

Agreement, authority and electronic records

By checking the required acceptance box and selecting the account-creation button, the user affirmatively agrees to these Terms, the annexes below and the Privacy Policy. The checkbox is not preselected, and registration cannot be completed without this affirmative action.

The user must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where the user lives. A younger learner may use the service only through an authorized educational institution with all legally required consent and adult supervision. A person accepting for an organization represents that the person has authority to bind that organization and to provide these Terms to its assigned users.

The user may print or save this version before accepting it. MechaTraining may retain an electronic record of acceptance, including the document version, date and time, account and license identifiers, locale, acceptance source and security hashes, as described in the Privacy Policy.

02

FREE access period

The FREE account provides limited-time access for 14 days unless MechaTraining states a different period in the Dashboard. Access ends at the expiration date shown in the user's account. MechaTraining may suspend, restrict or terminate access without prior notice when necessary for security, misuse prevention, service operation, legal compliance or protection of users and systems.

03

Educational simulation only

Mech CNC Mill is an educational simulator. It is not industrial control software and must not be used to operate, command, validate, certify or authorize a physical CNC machine or production process.

The simulator, XR views, training missions, warnings, alarms, loads, feeds, speeds, cost estimates, reports, G-code interpretation and generated files are instructional models. They may be incomplete, simplified, delayed or different from a specific machine, controller, material, tool, workholding system or workplace.

Nothing in the service replaces manufacturer documentation, employer procedures, qualified instruction, a documented risk assessment, machine-specific prove-out, inspection, guarding, PPE, lockout/tagout or applicable laws and standards.

The FREE service is not authorized to connect to or control a machine controller, PLC, robot, actuator, spindle, drive, safety circuit or other physical equipment. Copying, exporting or modifying an output does not convert it into approved production data. Independent review does not make the FREE service a machine-control or certification product.

04

Individual account and security

A FREE account is assigned to one person. Credentials may not be shared, transferred or used concurrently by multiple people. The user must protect the password and promptly report suspected misuse. MechaTraining may close older sessions when the account signs in elsewhere and may apply device, rate-limit and security controls.

05

Acceptable use

  • Use the service only for lawful education, training, evaluation and research.
  • Do not bypass authentication, license, session, safety or security controls.
  • Do not scrape, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer or probe the service except where law expressly permits.
  • Do not upload malicious code, unlawful content or data the user is not authorized to use.
  • Do not represent simulated results as certification of a real machine, real part or production process.
  • Do not connect the service, its companion, its files or its outputs to physical equipment for control, commissioning or production.
06

Training content and user files

MechaTraining retains ownership of its software, simulations, graphics, lessons, missions and documentation. The user receives a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use them during the FREE period. No source code, industrial-control right, certification authority or right to create a competing service is granted.

The user keeps ownership of files lawfully provided and grants MechaTraining only the limited right needed to process those files for the requested service. The user is responsible for the files' accuracy, legality, intellectual-property rights and safe handling.

G-code, STL, PDF, ZIP, hashes, cost reports and other outputs are educational evidence only. MechaTraining does not authorize these outputs for physical equipment. If a user independently rebuilds similar production data outside the service, that data must be generated, validated and approved using tools and procedures authorized for the physical machine and is not a MechaTraining output or approval.

07

Changes and availability

The FREE service may change, pause or end. Features, course content, limits and compatibility may be modified as the product develops. MechaTraining does not promise uninterrupted availability or preservation of unfinished FREE work. Users should keep authorized copies of files they need.

Material changes to these Terms will use a new version and effective date. When continued use requires new consent, the user will be required to accept the revised version before receiving further protected access; silence alone will not be treated as acceptance of a materially revised agreement.

08

Warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE FREE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT, OUTPUTS, REPORTS, XR VIEWS AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS,” “WITH ALL FAULTS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” MECHATRAINING DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, SAFETY, RELIABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PRODUCTION OR A PARTICULAR MACHINE.

No demonstration, marketing statement, training objective, example, technical response or successful simulation creates a warranty or certification unless MechaTraining expressly identifies it as a warranty in a separately signed written agreement.

MechaTraining LLC is not responsible for injury, equipment damage, scrap, downtime, lost production, lost data or other loss caused by prohibited real-machine use, reliance on simulated output as production approval, credential sharing, unauthorized modification or failure to follow required independent safety procedures.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MechaTraining will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages, or for lost profits, production, business opportunity, goodwill or data. For claims that applicable law permits the parties to limit, MechaTraining's aggregate liability arising from the FREE service will not exceed US $100.

These exclusions and the liability cap do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence or personal-injury liability to the extent it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.

09

Responsibility for prohibited use and third-party claims

The user and any organization providing access remain responsible for supervision, account assignment, workplace authorization and any decision to move simulator information outside the educational environment.

To the extent permitted by law, the user will defend and indemnify MechaTraining from a third-party claim caused by the user's intentional or unauthorized connection of the service or its outputs to physical equipment, violation of these Terms, unlawful files or infringement of another person's rights. This obligation does not apply to liability that law assigns to MechaTraining and does not permit MechaTraining to avoid non-waivable duties.

A

Annex A · Educational use and machine-safety notice

  • Never connect the service or its output directly to physical equipment as the sole basis for motion.
  • Use only trained and authorized personnel for real equipment.
  • Follow the machine builder's manuals, workplace procedures, guarding requirements and emergency rules.
  • Use required PPE and keep guards, doors and interlocks in their approved condition.
  • Apply required hazardous-energy control and lockout/tagout before servicing, clearing or entering hazardous areas.
  • Independently verify program identity, units, coordinate systems, work offsets, tool offsets, tool geometry, holders, fixtures, stock, travel, spindle direction, feeds, speeds, coolant and clearances.
  • Perform the organization's approved real-machine prove-out and inspection process. A successful simulation is not approval to run a real machine.
  • Employers, schools, laboratories and equipment owners retain all responsibility for qualified supervision, machine-specific training, access control, guarding, maintenance, emergency procedures and compliance with applicable safety law.
B

Annex B · FREE account rules

  • One FREE account and one active user session per person.
  • Access is limited to the period shown in the Dashboard.
  • The account may include the simulator, introductory missions, XR companion and selected learning resources.
  • MechaTraining may limit abusive automation, repeated trial creation, credential sharing or attempts to avoid technical controls.
  • At expiration or termination, protected services become unavailable. Account and deletion choices remain governed by the Privacy Policy.
10

General terms and contact

These Terms, their annexes and the Privacy Policy are the complete agreement for the FREE service and replace prior statements about that access. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. The user may not assign the account or these Terms; MechaTraining may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization or transfer of the service.

Expiration or termination ends the user's license, but provisions concerning ownership, prohibited real-machine use, warranty disclaimers, liability, responsibility for third-party claims, governing law and records of acceptance survive to the extent legally applicable.

MechaTraining is not responsible for delay or unavailability caused by events outside its reasonable control, including network, hosting, device, platform, emergency, legal or security events.

These Terms are governed by applicable law and, where legally permitted, the laws of Kentucky, United States, without applying conflict-of-law rules that would select another jurisdiction. Where legally permitted, disputes must be brought in a state or federal court having jurisdiction in Kentucky. Mandatory consumer rights and lawful small-claims remedies remain unaffected.

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions continue. Material revisions will be identified by a new version and effective date and will require renewed acceptance when legally or contractually required.
