Limited application license
Subject to the Platform Terms, MechaTraining LLC grants the user a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license to install or access an authorized copy of a MechaTraining application on compatible devices the user owns or controls, solely for the educational use permitted by the account and app entitlement.
The application is licensed, not sold. MechaTraining and its licensors retain ownership of the application and all rights not expressly granted. An app-store download, APK, web cache or installed binary does not create permanent server, course, simulator or content access.
This license applies only to an exact application, package, version and authorized distribution channel actually released by MechaTraining and identified by its listing, download metadata or Dashboard. It does not license a prototype, unreleased platform, future iOS build, withdrawn package or an application obtained from an unauthorized source. Availability may vary where required by law, sanctions, store catalog, device compatibility or release status; there is no blanket United States-only restriction.
License restrictions
The user may not copy or distribute the application except for an app-store or backup copy permitted by law; rent, lease, sell, transfer or sublicense it; remove ownership or security notices; bypass authentication or app entitlements; derive source code, reverse engineer or modify it except to the narrow extent law cannot prohibit; create an unauthorized derivative, wrapper or competing service; or use it for physical-equipment control, commissioning, safety validation, certification or production.
Account and online-service dependency
Some applications are companions to an authenticated web session and do not contain a standalone simulation. Others may require an active account, app grant, internet connection, pairing session or compatible host. Those requirements are part of the licensed function, not a defect. Account role, duration, activation, suspension and deletion are governed by the Platform Terms and Dashboard.
Device permissions and information
An application may request only the device permissions needed for a selected feature, such as camera access for augmented-reality tracking or network access for a secure pairing session. A permission prompt identifies the requesting function. The user may deny or revoke permission, but the related feature may not work.
Before the current Android companion requests camera permission or starts AR, it displays an in-app notice explaining that camera images are processed locally for surface detection and placement, that the current release does not record or transmit camera images, and that Google Play Services for AR (ARCore) is provided by Google. The notice states that use of ARCore is subject to the current Google Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. The user must affirmatively continue or may exit XR.
Information handling is described in the Privacy Policy. A store's privacy label or Data Safety form must be read together with that policy and must be updated when the application, backend or SDK behavior changes.
Updates, compatibility, maintenance and support
MechaTraining may provide updates, security fixes or revised builds that replace an earlier version. Continued protected use may require an update. Features and compatibility may differ by web, Android, future iOS, device and operating-system version.
An Android application installed from Google Play receives application updates through Google Play and will not download or install a replacement APK from outside that store. A separately distributed, signed Android APK is a distinct distribution channel and may direct the user to an authenticated MechaTraining download. Store and direct-distribution builds are identified, built and audited separately.
MechaTraining, not an app-store operator, is responsible for application maintenance and support to the extent required by applicable law and this agreement. Support: support@mecha-training.com. App-store operators have no obligation to furnish maintenance or support unless their own terms expressly say otherwise.
Third-party and open-source components
The application may include third-party or open-source software governed by notices or licenses supplied with the app or service. Those terms control the relevant component. The user must also comply with applicable mobile-network, device, operating-system and app-store terms.
Warranty, product claims and intellectual-property claims
Warranty disclaimers and liability limits in the Platform Terms apply to the application to the maximum extent permitted by law. If applicable law gives a remedy that cannot be excluded, that remedy remains available. No app-store operator is responsible for investigating, defending, settling or discharging a claim concerning the application, including product liability, regulatory compliance, consumer protection or intellectual-property infringement, except to the extent its own binding terms or applicable law require.
MechaTraining, not the app-store operator, is responsible for addressing valid claims relating to the application. If a store provides a purchase-price refund remedy for a warranty failure, the user may notify that store as its terms allow; to the maximum extent permitted by law, the store has no other warranty obligation.
Google Play and Android addendum
For an application obtained through Google Play, the license is between the user and MechaTraining, not Google. Google and its affiliates are not responsible for the application, its content, maintenance, support or claims. Use is also subject to Google Play and Android terms. The user may install and use the application only on Android devices associated with the user's Google account as permitted by those terms.
The current Android companion uses Google Play Services for AR (ARCore) for local AR tracking and placement. ARCore is provided by Google, and use of its functionality is subject to the then-current Google Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. The Android listing and Data Safety disclosure must identify the actual data practices of the released version, backend and included SDKs. The public Privacy Policy and account-deletion page remain available outside the app.
Addendum for a future Apple-distributed application
This section prepares the contract for a possible future iPhone, iPad or other Apple-platform release; it does not announce availability and grants no present Apple-platform license. No Apple-platform app is authorized until MechaTraining releases the exact package in an approved territory with completed privacy, permission, review and distribution disclosures. Unless a complete custom EULA is separately published in App Store Connect, a future Apple listing will use Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. This web EULA will continue to govern the MechaTraining account and online services only to the extent it does not conflict with that standard license or mandatory law.
If a later Apple listing expressly adopts a MechaTraining custom EULA after every required business-contact and minimum term is published, the agreement will be solely between the user and MechaTraining LLC, not Apple. MechaTraining, not Apple, will be responsible for the app and its content, maintenance, support and claims.
The license is limited to use on Apple-branded products the user owns or controls and as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Usage Rules, including any permitted Family Sharing or volume-purchase access. The user represents that the user is not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism and is not on a U.S. Government prohibited or restricted-party list.
MechaTraining is responsible for addressing product, consumer-protection, privacy, regulatory and intellectual-property claims relating to the app. The user must comply with applicable third-party terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and, upon acceptance, may enforce this Apple addendum against the user.
If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, the user may notify Apple and Apple may refund any purchase price as required by its terms; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Developer: MechaTraining LLC, Kentucky, United States. Account and application support: support@mecha-training.com.
Before an Apple release, MechaTraining must complete App Privacy disclosures, a verified PrivacyInfo manifest, Keychain credential storage, an in-app privacy and account-deletion route, reusable review access, export-compliance review and any required in-app-purchase analysis. A custom EULA additionally requires the complete business contact information and minimum terms required by Apple. That release remains blocked until those controls are complete.
Termination and survival
This license terminates automatically when the account or applicable app access is terminated for a material violation or when the user permanently deletes the account, except that an installed app may remain on the device without access to protected services. On termination, the user must stop using and delete unauthorized copies.
Ownership, restrictions, third-party terms, disclaimers, liability and claim provisions survive as legally applicable. Mandatory rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.
